Deer strike

I have nothing much to post, but I'd like to keep this more or less up to date with something every few days.
We just heard about a deer strike in Warwick. Kilvert St. right near the airport! We think these things happen only in rural areas, but certainly not the case.
Yes, this is a history of my life...deer strikes, foggy days, and boy, do I need my medicine.

A foggy day.....

Fog is so thick this morning that you can't see your hand in front of your face...if that's your idea of a good time.
I caught a performance of "Ambassador Satch" at the Cape Playhouse Saturday night. Pretty good show, and the Playhouse is so cool. The whole weekend was great, and the weather on the Cape was so much better than at home. Cooler, nice breeze, sunny, just perfect. I guess I'm just not cut out for the heat of Florida or Arizona, but I'd still love to try it out for a few months...at least.

Summer begins in a few hours

We've made it through another winter and spring, and just in time, my air conditioner is once again functioning within normal parameters.
Missed the air show last Saturday, but we went to a great PawSox game on Sunday. A huge thank you to Bill Crawford. Maybe someday I'll get a parking spot with my name on it too.
I'm using the mac almost exclusively now. I like iTunes and have gotten an iPod with the FM transmitter for use in the car. Gotta have that. Almost 300 songs in it so far! Maybe too many; finding the song you want while driving is much worse than using a cell phone, so I just let the music play randomly and I love it. The Schemers followed by Bing, followed by Five for Fighting, followed by Jerry Reed and then the Mikado. I love the mix.

Quonset Air Show

Big air show this weekend at Quonset Point. It should be fun...especially with the VIP tix courtesy of the great folks at Cat Country 98.1.
Paw Sox on Sunday, courtesy of the legendary Bill Crawford.
All this courtesy and I'm still broke.

Irish Festival

Just checked out the site for the Newport Irish Festival. Great news...Gaelic Storm will be appearing on Saturday night! They are the greatest band I've ever seen. Maybe I'll take the ferry down and back; driving is what keeps me away...the heavy traffic and the distance.
Stargate Convention in Boston in July!!!
